What it teaches Compassion Ahimsa Kindness to the weak

The opening of the children's telling

In the city of Ahmedabad, there is a special day when the whole sky fills with kites. Jay loved that day. He flew his kite high and cut the other kites down. "I am the best!" he shouted.

Little Raju, the watchman's son, watched quietly from the corner of the terrace. He did not have a kite of his own, so he just looked up at all the colours in the sky.
