The app

JainStory is published by Moweb Technologies Private Limited. It offers retellings of traditional Jain stories to read and, on the audio plan, to listen to.

Subscriptions

Two yearly plans are offered: Reader, which opens every story to read, and Reader + Audio, which adds narration. Payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play when you confirm. A plan renews each year at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules.

Paying on jainstory.com

On the website, a plan is a one-year pass paid once through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking or wallets), in Indian rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes. It starts as soon as the payment is confirmed and does not renew by itself; paying again adds another year. It is tied to your JainStory account and works on the web and in the app when you sign in with the same account.

Refunds for website payments

If JainStory is not right for your family, write to us within 7 days of paying on the website and we will refund the full amount to the original payment method, usually within 7 working days. After 7 days, plans are not refunded. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are refunded by the store under its own rules.

Family use

One subscription covers every profile on the device where it was bought, and other devices signed in to the same store account after you restore purchases.

Accounts

An account is optional. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts used to misuse the service.

Content

The stories are original retellings written for this app. Traditional narratives exist in many versions, and details can differ between tellings and between the Shvetambar and Digambar traditions. The text and narration are for personal, non-commercial use and may not be copied or redistributed.

Apple standard licence

If you use the app on an Apple device, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
