The opening of the children's telling
Kunj was twelve. He thought he was very clever. When his grandfather, Nanaji, asked for help with his phone, Kunj sighed and grabbed it. He did not even explain. And when the kind man who cleaned the stairs said good morning, Kunj never said good morning back. He did not even know his name.
Kunj had a big bicycle race on Sunday. But on Saturday, crunch! His bicycle broke. The wheel was bent, and the chain fell off. All the shops were closed. Kunj sat on the steps and felt like crying.
