The opening of the children's telling

Neev lived in a big city called Houston. Every evening, he saw something funny. His mother ate her dinner very early, while the sky was still pink. Then she did not eat or drink anything until morning.

"Mummy, why do you eat so early?" Neev asked. "I keep choviyar," said Mummy. "That means when the sun goes to sleep, I stop eating and drinking. I start again in the morning."
