The opening of the children's telling

In a tall tree lived a little bird called a sugari. She had made a lovely round nest out of grass. It was so well woven that no rain could get in.

One night there was a big storm. Rain poured down and thunder went boom. The sugari was warm and dry in her nest.

To carry into the day

Kind help is welcome; unasked advice, given at the wrong time, rarely is.

To talk about together

What could the sugari have said or done instead that would have helped the monkey?
