The opening of the children's telling

During Paryushan, a boy named Aarav made a big promise to his grandmother, Ba. "I will not eat anything after the sun goes down," he said, "for eight whole days."

Day one was easy. Day two was easy too. Aarav ate his dinner early, while the sun was still in the sky.
