Delete your JainStory account

An account is optional. If you created one, you can delete it at any time.

In the app

Open JainStory (in the app or at jainstory.com/app), go to Journey, tap the settings button, then Account, then Delete account, and confirm with your password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, confirm by typing your email address instead. Deletion is immediate.

By email

If you no longer have the app, write to support@moweb.com from the email address of your account with the subject "Delete my JainStory account". We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your name, email address, password, and the copy of your profiles, lamps, reading places, highlights, notes and bookmarks saved to the account. Nothing is kept, apart from backups that expire within 7 days.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your Apple or Google Play account settings so you are not charged again. A plan paid on jainstory.com does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel; it ends with the account.
