The opening of the children's telling
In the city of Dwarka lived Queen Devaki, the mother of Shri Krishna. One day two monks came to her door, and she gave them sweets. Then two more came, with the very same faces! Then two more! Devaki smiled each time and gave happily.
Devaki was puzzled. She asked Bhagwan Neminath about it. He told her softly, those six monks are your own sons. When they were babies, a kind god carried them far away to keep them safe, and another loving mother raised them.
