The opening of the children's telling

For her birthday, Saanvi got a beautiful art box. It had a hundred coloured pencils, and lots of pens and paints. Saanvi lined up all the pencils, from yellow to every green there was, all the way to black. She had never seen anything so lovely.

Her little cousin Ishaan came to stay. "Can I draw too?" he asked. "No," said Saanvi. "It's mine." She took the box to her room and closed the door.
