The opening of the children's telling

Yash was five, and he loved to run. Every morning he ran down the lane to the temple, and his Nani called, "Slowly, Yash, slowly!" But Yash did not listen.

One morning Nani called out, "Yash, stop!" Yash stopped, with one foot up in the air. "Look down," said Nani. Right in front of his foot was a long line of tiny brown ants. They were walking across the path, carrying crumbs and grains of rice to their home.
