What it teaches Faith Navkar Mantra Forgiveness

The opening of the children's telling

Long ago there lived a girl named Shrimati. She loved the Navkar Mantra very much. Before she ate, before she slept, before she did any work, she closed her eyes and said it softly. It made her heart calm and happy.

When Shrimati grew up, she married a young man called Buddhapriya and went to live in his house. But his family did not like her prayers. When she said the Navkar, they frowned. Shrimati was sad, but she stayed kind and gentle, and she kept saying her prayer every day.
