The opening of the children's telling

Mahi lived in a tall building in Mumbai. At the end of her corridor lived Mr D'Souza. He had white, bushy eyebrows, and he always shouted when children made noise. All the children were a little bit scared of him.

One week, Mr D'Souza stopped shouting. His door stayed shut, and newspapers piled up outside it. Mahi's cousin said, "Good! Maybe he went away."
