Mihika and Anvi are best friends who both want to sing the opening stavan at the Mahavir Jayanti programme. When only one of them is chosen, Mihika discovers a small hot feeling inside her that she does not like at all.

Mihika and Anvi were best friends. They played together, walked to school together, and sang together every Sunday.
One day their teacher said, "Anvi will sing the special song at the big festival." Everyone clapped. Mihika smiled, but inside she felt hot and cross. She had wanted to sing it too.
