The opening of the children's telling
On a big, holy mountain called Girnar, there lived a wise and gentle nun named Rajimati. She loved to walk among the trees and listen to the birds, thinking quiet, happy thoughts.
One day she was walking up the mountain when dark clouds rolled in. Whoosh! The rain poured down. Rajimati was soaked from head to toe. She found a cave and stepped inside to wait for the storm to pass, and she laid her wet clothes out to dry.
