What it teaches Compassion Courage Passing on kindness

The opening of the children's telling

Tillu was a tiny rabbit with very long ears. She was scared of lots of things, and most of all she was scared of the big elephants.

One hot day, a fire started in the forest. All the animals ran to a big open field where the fire could not reach. Tillu ran too. The field was so crowded! Tillu looked and looked, and at last she found one little round space on the ground. She hopped into it.
