What it teaches Humility Service Pride
The opening of the children's telling
On a farm lived a white horse named Badal and a brown cow named Gauri. Badal could run very fast. Everyone clapped for him. Gauri was slow, and she had a little bell that went tinn, tinn.
Badal grew very proud. "I am the best animal on the farm," he said. "Gauri, you never do anything. You just stand and chew." Gauri only blinked her kind eyes.
